Alexandra Gerungan is a Partner dealing with litigation/dispute resolutions at Makarim & Taira S. She has successfully handled litigation and dispute resolution cases across highly diverse sectors. Her experience ranges from civil lawsuits to arbitration; alternative dispute resolution; anti-corruption investigation; employment issues; land/property cases; insurance, banking and future exchange claims/disputes; police investigations (for example related to allegations of forestry and environmental crimes); and internal/independent investigations. She also advises on related matters such as due diligence and general investigations, liquidation, bankruptcy/suspension of payment, and land/property issues.
Drawing on her experience, she is moreover able to advise clients on transaction structures, agreements and general business practices with a view to preventing the emergence of future disputes or issues.
Alexandra is a frequent contributor to and a co-author of various reports, articles and publications on litigation, arbitration, alternate dispute resolution, environment matters, rule of law, compliance issues and labor law. Her articles have appeared internationally in Law Business Research, Global Legal Group and World Justice Project. She has also been invited as a speaker for seminars and workshops on litigation, arbitration, dispute settlement alternatives and insolvency. Alexandra is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), the Indonesian Advocates Society (IKADIN), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Indonesia, the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb).

Heru Mardijarto is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate and Commercial department. His expertise includes General Corporate matters, Energy and Natural Resources, Construction, and IT and telecommunications. He has advised many major international clients as well as Indonesian state own companies in relation to power plants as well as construction projects. He also has extensive experience in handling the procurement/tender process in both government and private institutions. Specifically for construction projects, he has been involved in some big construction projects for electric power plants, a blast furnace, and the construction of the Grissik – Singapore borderline gas pipeline. Recently, he has been actively involved in handling Data Protection legal issues and provided advice on them to both local and overseas clients.
Heru is a member of The Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), and The Indonesian Legal Consultant Association (IPHI).

Teddy Suprijadi is known for his practice on business law and related commercial matters. He has with wide ranging experience in General Corporate and Commercial Matters, Foreign Investment, Joint Ventures, IT, Corporate Restructuring, Employment, Insurance, Forestry, and Oil & Gas. Among others, he has handled major M&A transactions, restructuring projects, and the establishment of new businesses by major foreign companies in Indonesia. He has also served as general corporate counsel to leading domestic and international clients.
He has been invited by the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs to improve contract enforcement in Indonesia. He is the lead contributor to the Indonesian section of the annual publication “Doing Business in Asia” published by CCH Asia Pte. Ltd. for the years 2011-2013. Teddy is a member of The Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), The Indonesian Legal Consultants Association (IPHI), and The Indonesian Infocom Society (Mastel).
