Hogan Lovells has advised Indian automotive supplier Motherson Group on its commitment to acquire the SAS Cockpit Modules arm from French car parts maker Faurecia for $578 million.
Reuters reported that Faurecia last year took over German rival Hella to form a new European car parts company called FORVIA, and Faurecia chief Patrick Koller said the sale of the SAS business would help FORVIA to focus better on its core activities.
The Hogan Lovells team was led by partners Nikolas Zirngibl and Xavier Doumen, with support from partners Bernd Klemm, Martin Pflüger, Mikael Salmela, Marion Guertault, Alex Dolmans, Carlos Ramos Miranda, Lu Zhou, Isabel Carvalho, and William Yavinski.
