Indian law firm Trilegal has bolstered its real estate and disputes capabilities with the addition of litigator Samit Dilip Shukla as a partner in Mumbai. Shukla was previously a partner at DSK Legal. 

Shukla has over 16 years of experience in real estate litigation, insolvency, and regulatory matters. He has advised developers on complex legal matters across the real estate spectrum, and also has experience with regulatory and commercial disputes. 

“Samit has deep knowledge of the real estate sector and a diverse practice portfolio encompassing regulatory and commercial disputes. He will complement our market-leading real estate and disputes practices and add immense value to several complex client situations,” said managing partners Sridhar Gorthi and Nishant Parikh jointly in a statement. 

After a strong 2023, Trilegal has recalibrated its aggressive hiring strategy this year, hiring partners to its capital markets and banking, antitrust and corporate practices

With Shukla’s addition, the firm has 135 partners across its offices.
