Event Overview
In today’s evolving business environment, general counsel has evolved greatly over the years. They are called upon to scan the horizon for potential threats – legal, political, economic, technology or social, and to connect the dots between different teams to drive the business forward.
As the saying goes, with greater opportunities comes greater responsibility. To deal with this, new kinds of competencies are required and expected from the legal function. How can general counsel ensure they are well-prepared and ultimately, how can they create real value for their organisations?
Asian Legal Business is proud to present the inaugural ALB UAE In-House Legal Summit 2019 on 22 October which sets out to find compelling solutions to meet the changing expectations and mounting demands faced by general counsels. This forum will address issues including emerging risks and compliance challenges in UAE, regulatory updates, new skill sets required, the evolving roles of general counsel and how can general counsel continue being relevant to the business.
