International law firm Allen & Overy has entered into an exclusive association with Saudi Arabia’s Zeyad S. Khoshaim Law Firm, reaffirming its commitment to the Saudi legal market.

Zeyad Khoshaim, the managing partner of the associated Riyadh office, joined Allen & Overy as a partner in August 2010. His team in Riyadh advises on a range of matters including M&A, capital markets, banking and finance, projects, and Islamic finance.

“I look forward to continuing my relationship with A&O, and leveraging its broad international network to advise our clients on some of the most complex transactions undertaken in the market,” said Khoshaim in a statement.

A&O had previously been in a five-year association with the Abdulaziz AlGasim Law Firm, but the contract between the two firms expired in June this year. Under Saudi Arabian law, Western firms must associate with a local partner to operate out of the kingdom.
