Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas’ legaltech incubator, Prarambh, believed to be India’s first, has announced the winners of its first cohort – JRTC Intern, Leegality and LegalMind.

JRTC Intern is a talent management platform that connects pre-qualified law students with internship opportunities at law firms, advocate offices and corporates. Leegality is an e-signing and digital document workflow platform that enables enterprises to digitize and automate document signing and provides e-stamp papers. And LegalMind is an AI-based legal research platform that enables users to perform efficient research supported by analytics and insights.

Announced in February, Prarambh was set up to assist young entrepreneurs coming up with new technology-based solutions for the legal industry including areas related to access to justice, dispute resolution, transaction efficiencies, law firm operations, legal research, compliance, contract management and managing legal talent, among others. It eventually received 51 applications from various startups.

A panel of innovators, industry experts and lawyers from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas will mentor the three winning startups going forward.
