Pan-ASEAN law and tax firm DFDL has launched a compliance and investigations practice, headed by Thailand tax director Jonathan Blaine.

The new practice will provide advice on compliance, risk, governance, and special investigation services. It will have a special focus on anti-bribery and anti-corruption advisory services, including regional, FCPA and UKBA compliance support, compliance risk assessments and policy development.

The services additionally include regulatory systems reviews and assessments, board or director and executive-level responsibility and liability advisory, and crisis management and governmental investigations support.

The other members of the practice include Laos-based partner Jack Sheehan, Bangladesh managing director Shahwar Jamal Nizam, Laos managing director Kristy Newby, Myanmar managing director William D. Greenlee, Jr. and Hanoi head Huynh Dai Thang.
