Eversheds has launched its consulting arm in Asia with the introduction of Eversheds Agile, which provides lawyers to in-house legal teams on a temporary, contract basis.

Set to be rolled out in Hong Kong and Singapore during the summer, Eversheds Agile will initially have a pool of between 20 and 30 lawyers in Asia.

The firm’s global consulting arm, Eversheds Consulting, was launched in September 2010, and currently has clients like GE, IATA, Lloyds Banking Group and Volvo. It was rolled out in Dubai in 2014, and its Middle East clients include Abu Dhabi Airports Company and the Qatar Foundation.

“Whilst Eversheds is a relatively new entrant in the Asia market, we have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice and challenging the status quo to deliver new and fresh offerings, designed to meet what clients need in a fast-changing environment,” said Eversheds Asia managing partner Stephen Kitts in a statement. “Having had discussions with existing clients in Asia over the last few months, we are confident that there is a real appetite for our Consulting and Eversheds Agile services, which we are excited to offer to both new and existing clients in the region.”
