The finalists for the 2019 Inaugural ALB India Law Awards have been revealed ahead of the black-tie gala ceremony at The Grand Hyatt Mumbai on Feb 27, 2019. Through a series of 34 awards, the ALB India Law Awards will showcase the outstanding achievements in the legal profession across the country over the past year.

This year’s awards attracted over 440 nominations, which for an inaugural event is remarkable.  A total of 73 law firms and 58 in-house teams spread across multi-practice areas and industries will be fiercely contesting for the coveted accolade this year.  The Young Lawyer of the Year award is the most popular category, attracting 43 submissions, while the Woman Lawyer of the Year and Boutique Law Firm of the Year have received 37 and 32 entries respectively. Other hotly contested award categories include the International Law Firm of the Year and India In-House Team of the Year.

As the next step of the awards process, all submissions will be reviewed by an independent judging panel of senior and expert industry leaders who have been selected from across the legal profession. To view the profile of some of our distinguished judges, click here.

As tables are selling fast, do book early to avoid disappointment. The glittering gala event offers a chance to network and celebrate a successful year with legal, business and government leaders from India.  Non-finalists are also welcomed to attend the event to network and celebrate with industry peers.
