Hogan Lovells has entered into a new Indonesia association with Dewi Negara Fachri & Partners, months after breaking up with Hermawan Juniarto that ended a relationship of more than three years.

Noor Meurling, formerly head of corporate/M&A at Ashurst’s associated office in Jakarta, has been credited with bringing the two parties together. Meurling joins Hogan Lovells as a partner in its Singapore office.

DNFP has three partners: Dewi Djarot, Fachri Fachrul and Chalid Heyder. Djarot was previously a founding partner of Soebagjo Jatim Djarot, while Heyder joins from Hiswara Bunjamin and Tandjung, Herbert Smith Freehills’ Indonesia alliance firm.
