Indian law firm HSA Advocates has hired three lawyers from Khaitan & Co. as it named Amitabh Sharma as its new managing partner and announced the opening of an office in Bangalore 

Sharma, a Mumbai-based M&A and private equity expert, will focus on HSA’s growth and client outreach. Prior to Khaitan, Sharma was a partner at J. Sagar Associates.

Apart from Sharma, HSA also snapped up two more lawyers from Khaitan: energy and projects partner Megha Arora, who will join the new Bangalore office, and associate partner Rahul Arora in New Delhi.

Previously a counsel at Khaitan, Megha Arora is expected to help HSA establish the firm’s presence in southern India.

With 21 partners and associate partners, HSA now has offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore.
