New Delhi law firm Singhania & Partners has merged with Mumbai law firm Rajani Associates to form
Rajani, Singhania & Partners, a pan-Indian firm with 20 partners, 100 lawyers and offices in four major cities.
Both Singhania & Partners and Rajani Associates were established in 1999 by Ravi Singhania and Prem Rajani respectively. The two founders will act as joint managing partners of the new firm, which will begin operating Nov. 1.
“This merger is part of both our growth stories. Through our combined expertise and extended reach, we aim to have leadership in all jurisdictions and practice areas where we have office, and unlock the present and potential professional opportunities propelling growth,” Ravi Singhania said in a statement.
“This merger is a coming together of two leading firms with expertise in different practice areas. With individual strengths as well as a number of common strengths, we will leverage our commonalities thereby creating a value proposition for all our clients. We have no doubt that both firms will complement each other and the merged entity will offer its clients a complete and comprehensive bouquet of services across major cities,” Prem Rajani added.
The new firm will have offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
