Indian law firm Tatva Legal has opened its sixth office in the southern city of Vijayawada, in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The office will be headed by partner Rajeev Reddy G, who is based full-time in nearby Hyderabad. Reddy is expected to spend three days a week there, and he will be supported by three associates based in Vijayawada.
“We are doing some work for the government of Andhra Pradesh in the state capital Amaravati, near Vijayawada, and that’s why we decided to open the new office,” said Shailendra Komatreddy, a co-founder of Tatva who is also based in Hyderabad. “Vijayawada is seeing a lot of investment, and so we thought we’d have the first-mover advantage.”
Tatva Legal also has offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi and Mumbai. The firm’s Hyderabad office now has 50 lawyers, including 6 partners.
