Indian law firm Trilegal has opened an office in Gurgaon, located in the National Capital Region. It is the firm’s fifth branch nationally.

Corporate partners Ravindra Bandhakavi, Harsh Pais, Yogesh Singh and Vaibhav Kothari will relocate from the New Delhi office to the new branch.

In a statement, the firm said it had also restructured and consolidated its work across all practices into three practice groups—Corporate, Projects and Disputes—to bring it in line with global standards.

In addition, as part of its strategic growth plan, the firm recently hired Bhakta Patnaik as a partner from S&R Associates to head its capital markets practice.

Apart from New Delhi and Gurgaon, Trilegal has offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Other law firms with offices in Gurgaon include AZB & Partners, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and J Sagar Associates.
