Integrated Legal Holdings has announced an expansion into the corporate advisory and wealth management space, a move which is described by the company as “highly complementary and synergistic with [our] existing legal businesses.”  ILH is best known as the listed owner of several Australian law firms in the SME/private client space.

The first stage of this strategy will be executed through the acquisition of two new businesses: Capricorn Investment Partners and The Pentad Group. These acquisitions are subject to the approval of the issue of shares at an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders.

ILH has flagged further acquisitions in the broader non-legal professional services space and has said that it plans to develop a network of “member firms, affiliates and strategic relationships in Australia, the Pacific region, South East Asia and internationally.”
