Indian law firm Kochhar & Co. has opened an independent office in Dubai, six months after procuring a licence from the Dubai Legal Affairs Department of the Ruler's office to practise local law in the UAE.

The new full-service office is located in the Citadel Towers of Dubai’s Business Bay, and has a 12-member team consisting of a managing partner, senior partners and partners.

Kochhar and Co. is the first law firm from the Indian sub-continent to acquire this sort of a full licence.
