Mills Oakley Lawyers has significantly expanded its partnership, adding six new partners and taking its total partnership count to 45. “This is the largest ever group of new partners to come through our ranks at one time,” said CEO John Nerurker. Half of the new appointments are lateral, while the remaining half are internal promotions.
The lateral hires are Brisbane litigator Dale Cliff, previously of Moore Stephens, Melbourne financial services expert Chris Ketsakidis from Maurice Blackburn and Sydney building & construction expert Peter Meades from Maddocks.
The internal promotions are John Storey in the Melbourne Tax team, Ziv Ben-Arie in the Sydney building and construction team and Ariel Borland in the Melbourne commercial disputes & insolvency team.
The firm has made a number of other promotions. New senior associates are Holly Rayfield, Chantal Reigo, Levi Smouha and Holly Taylor while new associates are Ivana Griggs, Bianca Guerrieri, Kate Barry and Nadine Vielhuber.
