HopgoodGanim has recruited  resources and energy partner Simon Panegyres to its Perth team.

Panegyres will join the firm in February 2014, bringing HopgoodGanim’s national partnership numbers to 34. HopgoodGanim originally entered the Perth market a year ago via a merger with local firm Q Legal.

Panegyres will be based in HopgoodGanim’s new Allendale Square office and specialises in corporate and resources work, with particular expertise in resources project development and operations, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, fund raisings and corporate governance.

He will join existing Perth partners Kevin Dundo, Nino Odorisio and Robyn Ferguson, and a team of 16 lawyers.
