Singapore Big Four firm Rajah & Tann has entered into a strategic alliance with Malaysian law firm Christopher & Lee Ong, as it seeks to cement its footprint in the ASEAN region.

Christopher & Lee Ong has been formed following the merger of three law firms: Kamilah & Chong (formerly the associate office of Rajah & Tann in Malaysia), Lee Ong & Kandiah and Christopher Lee & Co. The merger firm, headed by joint managing partners Christopher Lee and Lee Hock Chye, has 44 fee-earners.

In addition to Malaysia, Rajah & Tann now has offices in China, the Middle East, Thailand, Lao PDR, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia and Cambodia.
