International law firm Simmons & Simmons has advised engineering and project management company, RWE Technology, on its joint venture with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to develop an energy consulting company in the region.

The new consultancy will offer services to energy suppliers in the region and consult on energy related projects in the oil and gas sector. The joint venture will also serve as an adviser to the steel, chemical, aluminium and cement industries, as well as government authorities  and private investors and developers.

The Simmons & Simmons team was led by Abu Dhabi corporate partner Adrian Nizzola and supported by Dubai corporate partner Nick Watson, and managing associate, Mohammed Majid.
