Herbert Smith Freehills has announced three new partner promotions, all in the one practice area.

The employment practice has welcomed Michael Gonski, Sonia Millen and Drew Pearson to the partnership.

Michael Gonski is a general employment lawyer specialising in senior executive issues, employment aspects of mergers & acquisitions and employment litigation. He advises clients in a range of industries including financial services, building and construction, listed property trusts and FMCG.

Sonia Millen practises in the areas of industrial relations, general employment and diversity law, assisting clients in both the private and public sectors. She works with clients in a range of industries including aviation, construction, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and stevedoring.

Drew Pearson works with employers in the areas of industrial relations, diversity and general employment law. He regularly advises both Australian and international clients on workforce strategy, enterprise bargaining, employment litigation, industrial disputes and diversity issues.
