Wotton + Kearney Special Counsel Heidi Nash-Smith and CEP David Kearney have together raised over $15,000 for a cause close to their hearts by completing the New York Marathon fund-raising challenge.

Nash-Smith, who completed the Marathon in 3 hours and 47 minutes, raised over $9000 for the Heart Foundation while Kearney completed the Marathon in just under four hours and raised $7,000 for the firm’s CSR partner Royal Far West, an organisation which provides health services to children living in rural and remote New South Wales.

“It goes without saying that its hard work, that there are moments where you just feel exhausted,” said Nash-Smith of the Marathon. “But you battle on, helped by the other runners, the spectators and the many people back home who believe in you, have supported you and who do not doubt that you will finish.”
