Indian law firm HSA Advocates has hired Aninda Pal as a corporate partner in its Mumbai office from Juris Corp.
Pal specialises in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, regulatory advisory and general corporate. Prior to Juris Corp, Pal was a counsel at Trilegal.
Earlier in May, HSA hired three lawyers from Khaitan & Co. and launched an office in Bangalore.
Lack of judicial capacity, incompetency, and frivolous litigation in the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) have led to decreased values and increased timelines for debt recovery under India’s bankruptcy code, driving financial creditors and prospective debt buyers away from India’s foremost stressed asset resolution scheme.
Indian law firm DLS Law Offices has separated from HSA Advocates and will operate as an independent entity going forward. HSA and DLS merged in May 2019.
India’s Saraf and Partners has expanded its projects, regulatory and litigation team in Delhi with the addition of Alok Shankar as a partner from HSA Advocates.
