DLA Piper has boosted its finance capabilities in Singapore after hiring Vincent Seah as a project finance partner from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a counsel.

Seah’s appointment is the second partner hire for DLA in its finance and projects practice this year. In January, Philip Lee joined the firm from Herbert Smith Freehills.

Seah specialises in project finance with a focus on energy and infrastructure projects in Asia, particularly in Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Mongolia. He also has experience in export credit agency and multilateral agency lending. and handles general banking and finance matters.

Seah, who had two stints at Freshfields, also worked as an associate at Shearman & Sterling and Allen & Gledhill in Singapore.
