Our client is an IP group incorporated in Shenzhen, a China-based and internationally oriented IP service provider, dedicated to building a bridge for innovation collaboration and promoting the value of intellectual property. They provide full chain and one-stop patent solution covering global prosecution, analytical & consulting, investment, transaction, licensing, enforcement and dispute resolution.
Department: Licensing & Litigation
Location flexible: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Washington D.C.
Responsibilties:
1. Formulate strategies and/or policies for responding to IP related disputes / litigations
2. Perform invalidity and non-infringement analysis for the patent-in-suits
3. Actively supervise outside counsel and manage IP litigation
4. Draft, negotiate, interpret IP related agreements and assist client to negotiate patent licensing
5. Offer advices about business of IP related agreements
Requirements:
1. At least 3-year working experience in handling overseas IP litigation at a law firm or similar in-house experience
2. Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or science, or related technical discipline
3. Admission to the US Bar and USPTO is preferred
4. Ability to collaborate with technical team on multiple projects to analyze patents and formulate substantive legal positions
