The 7th annual ALB Indonesia Law Awards, a virtual event held on Oct. 8, celebrated the standout lawyers, firms, in-house teams and legal work in the country.

HHP Law Firm won the highest number of awards on the night, its haul of seven including Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year for Andi Yusuf Kadir, Young Lawyer of the Year for Mahardikha Sardjana, Indonesia Deal Firm of the Year and the coveted title of Indonesia Law Firm of the Year.

Meanwhile, ABNR won five awards, including the Managing Partner of the Year for Emir Nurmansyah, Arbitration Law Firm of the Year and Litigation Law Firm of the Year.

The Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year awards went to Assegaf Hamzah & Partners. The firm won three other awards, including the Antitrust and Competition Law Firm of the Year.

UMBRA - Strategic Legal Solutions claimed the Rising Law Firm of the Year accolade, while the Dispute Resolution Boutique Law Firm of the Year and the International Law Firm of the Year awards went to KarimSyah Law Firm and Clifford Chance, respectively.

In the individual categories, SSEK Legal Consultants’ Dewi Savitri Reni was awarded Dealmaker of the Year, while the award of the Woman Lawyer of the Year went to Tumbuan & Partners’ Jennifer B. Tumbuan.

In the in-house categories, GoJek was the winner of the Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo Award Indonesia In-House Team of the Year and Technology, Media and Telecommunications In-House Team of the Year awards, while the Innovative In-House Team of the Year award went to Indosat.
