Luthra & Luthra has set up a full-fledged office in Hyderabad after hiring Durga Bose Gandham as a partner from Tatva Legal.

The office will be overseen by senior partner HS “Bobby” Chandhoke, along with partner Abdullah Hussain.

Gandham will head the Hyderabad office’s litigation and dispute resolution practice. He has represented Indian, U.S., Asia-Pacific and European companies in corporate law-related disputes, arbitrations and banking-related matters.

To bolster the office’s litigation offering, the firm has also hired Altaf Fathima, an advocate-on-record at India’s Supreme Court, as partner designate.
