Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright announced on Tuesday it would merge with New York-based Chadbourne & Parke to form a firm of some 4,000 lawyers with offices in 32 countries.

Chadbourne & Parke has represented a consortium consisting of SUEZ, ITOCHU Corporation, Engie Energy International and W.J. Towell & Co., on the development and financing of the $300 million Barka independent water project in Oman.
