India’s largest law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, has added corporate lawyer Varun Sehgal as a partner in Delhi from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.

With more than 13 years of experience, Sehgal specialises in M&A and joint ventures. He advises multinationals, including Japanese companies, on their investments in India.

Sehgal started his career at the legacy Amarchand Mangaldas in 2007, moving to SAM following the split. At SAM, he was promoted to partner in 2017. During his time at that firm, he was seconded to Japanese Big Four firm Anderson Mori & Tomotsune for close to a year.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
