India’s HSA Advocates has continued its aggressive rebuilding with the appointment of corporate lawyer Sunando Mukherjee as a partner in Delhi from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
Mukherjee, who spent 13 years at the legacy Amarchand Mangaldas and SAM combined, specialises in corporate and project finance with an emphasis on energy M&A. Notable work has included advising the Indian government on its Dedicated Freight Corridor project.
In 2019, HSA lost more than 20 lawyers, chiefly to DSK Legal and IndusLaw. Since then, the firm has been on a hiring spree, with the latest partner addition being Ashutosh Gupta from Economic Laws Practice.
