Manchester-based DWF has increased its partnership strength in Singapore to five after hiring Ben Constance from Taylor Wessing, where he headed the Dubai corporate team.

Constance, who has over 15 years of experience at law firms in the Middle East, Asia and Australia, focuses on international M&A, joint ventures and private equity. Among his deals, he advised a Saudi sovereign wealth fund on its investment into a private UAE-based water desalination plant operator.

At DWF, Constance will provide advice to companies within sectors such technology, energy and financial services.

In August last year, DWF started a corporate insurance practice in Singapore by hiring Jonathan Goacher from Kennedys. It later hired Babita Ambekar from Duane Morris & Selvam as a partner.
