Peter Zaman, formerly the managing partner of Reed Smith’s Singapore office, has joined HFW as a senior partner.

Zaman, a transactional expert with more than two decades of experience, specialises in structured finance, energy and resources, environment and climate change, renewables, and sustainability. He also acts on China-related transactions, focusing on onshore and offshore commodity derivatives, including regulatory aspects.

Before joining Reed Smith in 2012, Zaman was a partner at Clifford Chance in London for 12 years.

Following Zaman’s appointment, HFW now has 17 partners in Singapore.
