Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and AZB & Partners are continuing their poaching of key partners from each other, with the most recent exchange happening in the disputes space.

CAM recently snapped up a team of seven disputes lawyers from AZB in New Delhi, led by partner Sidhartha Barua, barely months after hiring Percy Billimoria as the head of its Delhi practice, as well as its disputes chair, from the same firm.

Days after Barua’s hire, CAM’s Vijayendra Pratap Singh appears to be headed in the other direction, joining AZB as its disputes head in New Delhi, according to Legally India.

But the poaching hasn’t been restricted to the disputes space, with AZB recently hiring Nisha Kaur Uberoi, CAM’s national competition head. Her hire was AZB’s second high-profile poach from CAM in as many months, following the hire of Ashwath Rau, the latter firm’s corporate practice co-head.
