Indian law firm Trilegal has appointed Nisha Kaur Uberoi as partner and head of its competition law practice from AZB & Partners.

Uberoi, who will be based in Mumbai, has local and international experience in merger control and cartel work. Five of her team members from AZB’s competition practice will join her at Trilegal.

During her stint with AZB, Uberoi was co-head of the firm's competition practice. She has also worked at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as well as Rajah and Tann and Ashurst in Singapore.
