Singhania & Partners, AP & Partners and Phoenix Legal have recruited a partner each, Naik Naik & Co has added two associate partners focused on disputes, while ANM Global has continued its IP expansion with an associate partner hire.

Singhania & Partners has welcomed back disputes attorney Tarun Dua as a partner in Delhi from DSK Legal. With more than two decades of experience, Dua advises on disputes, focusing on the infrastructure industry. He previously spent six years at Singhania as a partner from 2004 to 2010, before moving to Luthra and Luthra.

Disputes lawyer Harish Khedkar has joined Mumbai-headquartered Naik Naik & Co as an associate partner in Mumbai from Vis Legis Law Practice. This is Khedkar’s second stint at Naik Naik, having previously been a senior associate at the firm between 2013 and 2016. Khedkar has over 12 years of experience advising clients on criminal and civil litigation as well as arbitration.

Delhi-based AP & Partners has recruited M&A lawyer Dushyant Kumar as a partner from International Finance Corporation (IFC), following the addition of corporate expert Kamaljeet Singh as a partner from J Sagar Associates in April. Kumar has over a dozen years of experience advising clients on general corporate and compliance in addition to transactional work. Kumar joined IFC as an in-house counsel in 2019 after having spent nearly a decade at Trilegal.

Naik Naik & Co has hired another disputes attorney, Siddharth Ratho, as an associate partner in Mumbai from Trilegal. Having started his career as a lawyer in 2014, Ratho worked at several Indian law firms, including Nishith Desai Associates and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, before joining Trilegal as a senior associate. He represents clients in commercial litigation and international arbitration.

Cross-border transactions lawyer Sumit Sinha has joined Phoenix Legal as a partner in Delhi from DMD Advocates. Sinha has over 17 years of experience advising on M&A, joint ventures and other investments by corporations and private equities. Prior to joining DMD as a partner in 2017, Sinha worked at Indian law firms J Sagar Associates and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.

Following the expansion of its intellectual property offering after merging with the Mumbai-based IP boutique Literati Juris last year, ANM Global has hired IP lawyer Shwetank Tripathi as an associate partner in Mumbai from Khaitan & Co. Tripathi has more than a decade of experience advising on corporate matters including trademarks and patents. Tripathi previously worked at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices and Zeus Law, before becoming senior associate at Khaitan & Co.
