Indian law firm Khaitan & Co has hired corporate expert Radhika Iyer as a partner in Mumbai from Khaitan Legal Associates.

She becomes Khaitan’s third lateral partner hire this year, all of whom have been in the corporate practice. In April, it recruited Promode Murugavelu and Rakki Partani as partners from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co and J Sagar Associates, respectively.

With nearly two decades of experience, Iyer advises clients in the sectors such as insurance, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, and media and entertainment, on domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity and other transactions.

Iyer worked for Khaitan Legal twice, from 2021 until just recently, and from 2014 to 2015. Between these stints, she was at Naik Naik & Co. Her previous employers include Clasis Law and ALMT Legal.
