King & Spalding has hired M&A specialist Lee Taylor as the head of its Asia-Pacific corporate practice from Clifford Chance in Singapore.

Taylor, who headed Clifford Chance’s M&A group in Singapore and private equity practice in Southeast Asia, has experience advising on domestic and international public and private M&A, covering sectors such as insurance, healthcare, financial services, energy and PE. His clients have included PE houses, hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds across the APAC region. He was with Clifford Chance for two decades. 

With the hire of Taylor, King & Spalding’s Singapore office now has 30 lawyers, including 11 partners. Recently, the office added partner Meredith Redwine, who relocated from Atlanta. King & Spalding opened its Singapore office in 2010.
