Dechert has grown its corporate practice in Hong Kong, swooping up partner David Cho from U.S. rival Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.

Cho is experienced in M&A transactions and capital markets deals, specialising in the banking, life sciences and telecom sectors. He has a long history of working with Korean clients, including mobile phone operator SK Telecom, and solar wafer maker Nexolon in a dispute with First Philec Solar.

Prior to joining Orrick in 2007, Cho worked with Debevoise & Plimpton and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
