London-headquartered Ashurst has added financial regulations lawyer Evan Lam as a partner in Singapore from Big Four firm Allen & Gledhill, the former’s second lateral partner hire from the latter in as many months.

In early April, Ashurst’s Singapore office hired investments funds lawyer Danny Tan.

With more than a decade of experience, Lam advises financial institutions on Singapore financial regulations and on over-the counter (OTC) derivatives. He acts as netting and collateral opinions counsel to industry bodies.
