Ashurst has appointed Danny Tan to lead its investments funds practice in the Asia-Pacific. Tan joins from Singapore Big Four firm Allen & Gledhill, where led the private funds practice.

Tan has expertise in  investments, M&A and social wealth funds. He advises governmental bodies, family offices and financial institutions.

Ashurst’s Singapore office now has 12 partners with the addition of Tan. 

Tan’s appointment comes days after Ashurst hired corporate lawyer Melody He-Chen as a partner in Hong Kong from DLA Piper.
