UK law firm Kennedys has recruited corporate and capital market specialist Robson Lee as a partner in Singapore. He was previously a global equity partner at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher for seven years.

This is Kennedys’ second lateral partner hire in Singapore in the past three months. In November last year, aviation expert Tristan Thompson joined the firm from DLA Piper.

With close to 30 years’ experience, Lee advises on issues such as licensing, securities, banking, insurance, listing with the Singapore Exchange, cross-border M&A and joint ventures, fundraising and compliance with strong focus on regulations by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He joined Gibson Dunn in 2015 from local firm Shook Lin & Bok, where he was a senior partner.

This addition has taken the number of partners in Kennedys’ Singapore office to 15.
