Stephenson Harwood has hired Jonathan Goacher, the former head of regulatory for Asia at Hill Dickinson, as a partner in Singapore.

With 25 years of experience in U.S. and other economic sanctions and trade controls, Goacher conducts sanctions due diligence and staff training, and advises on matters concerning sanctioned deals, trades, vessels and aircraft, and licensing.

Goacher joined Hill Dickinson in 2020 from DWF, which shuttered its Singapore office that year. He was earlier at Kennedys, and before that, at DLA Piper and Baker McKenzie.

His arrival has taken the number of partners at Stephenson Harwood in Singapore to 23.
