Latham & Watkins and ACCRALAW have advised U.S. private equity firm Warburg Pincus as one of the investors in the $300 million funding round of the Philippines’ Mynt.

Mynt is a digital financial solutions provider, owned by Philippine mobile operator Globe telecom in partnership with Ayala Corporation and Ant Financial.

The funding round, which valued Mynt at $2 billion. saw participation from other PE/VC firms Insight Partners, Itai Tsiddon, Bow Wave and Amplo Ventures, as well as capital from Globe and Ayala.

Partner Amy Beckingham led the Latham team.
