By and Thailand's military-led government has approved a restructuring plan for Thai Airways International PCL in a bid to restore profitability to the national carrier's operations, a senior government official said on Monday.

Dubai's Amlak Finance said on Thursday that a proposal to restructure its debt had been approved by all its creditors, and that shares in the mortgage lender would therefore resume trading on the emirate's stock market next year.

In one of the most high-profile lateral moves in recent times, Manoj Sandrasegara has left Drew & Napier for rival firm WongPartnership. He will lead WongPartnership’s insolvency & restructuring practice group alongside current heads Chou Sean Yu and Mark Choy.
