Australian law firm William Roberts Lawyers has opened an office in Singapore, its first outside its home country and its third overall.

William Roberts Lawyers, which was established in Sydney in 2005, opened its second office in Melbourne in 2010. It has almost 40 lawyers in total, and specialises in building and construction, insurance, banking and finance, and general complex commercial matters.

The new office aims to service the international arbitration market, and also assist individuals and entities with current or prospective Australian transactional and general commercial needs. It will be headed by director Leonora Roccisano.
