Offshore law firm Carey Olsen has opened its first office in Asia with a launch in Singapore.

The Singapore office is led by managing partner Linda Lee, formerly a partner at Allen & Overy’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices. She is joined by senior associates Elizabeth Killeen and Alan Hughes, who have relocated from the firm’s BVI office.

In Singapore, Carey Olsen focuses on corporate and commercial transactions, capital markets, M&A, banking & finance and investment funds.

“This growth represents a strategic move to build on the significant experience Carey Olsen has with clients in Asia and to strengthen the relationships we have already established,” said Lee in a statement.
