Norton Rose has promoted banking of counsel Joanne Emerson-Taqi and corporate finance senior associate Dino Wilkinson to the firm’s global partnership in a 15-strong promotion round that includes seven females.

Emerson-Taqi, a construction lawyer based in the firm’s Bahrain office has been made partner this week. Her main areas of focus are non-contentious projects and construction in the real estate and infrastructure sectors. She advises government institutions, concessionaires, project companies, developers, contractors and financial institutions.

Wilkinson, a lawyer in the communications, media & technology team has been promoted to partner. He advises Islamic and conventional financial institutions, telecoms operators, professional services organizations and other corporate clients on a wide range of non-contentious IT and outsourcing matters, including data privacy and security.ALB
