Pranav Sharma, who spent four years with Amarchand and Mangaldas and Suresh A. Shroff and Co near the start of his career, has returned as a banking and finance and insolvency partner at the firm’s New Delhi office after spending six years with Linklaters in London.

Sharma, who joined Dua and Associates after graduating from National Law School, has 11 years of experience in the areas of banking and finance, project finance, debt capital markets, corporate and debt restructuring, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, policy and legislation, and regulatory practices.

Amarchand, which recently won the India Deal Firm of the Year award at the 2012 ALB SE Asia Law Awards, has set itself a target of becoming a 1000-lawyer and 100-partner firm by 2017. ALB
