Clyde & Co has hired Michael Horn, most recently chief risk officer at sovereign wealth fund PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance, as a partner at its Singapore office.
With extensive experience in Indonesia, Horn has spent more than 20 years working in infrastructure and structured finance, secured lending, private equity investment, distressed debt and workouts, corporate finance, joint ventures and cross border investment across Asia, with particular emphasis on the energy and transportation industries.
His transactional work includes acting on significant energy and infrastructure projects in the region, including the A$695 million acquisition and refinancing of Sydney Cross City Tunnel, the finance lease structure for the Tanjung Jati B power plant, and the financings for the Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Wellington airports. Horn also served as the managing director and associate general counsel of Financial Security Assurance Inc, and the head of Coudert Brothers’ Jakarta and Singapore offices.
