J. Sagar Associates (JSA) has named two new partners at its Mumbai office, with Aashit Shah being elevated to equity partner elect, and Anish Mashruwala being promoted to retained partner.
Shah, who has been with the firm since 2005, has been advising domestic and international clients on areas of law such as banking and finance, exchange control, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, funds formation, and general corporate and commercial issues.
Mashruwala, meanwhile, focuses on banking and finance, investment funds, financial services, and cross border investments and acquisitions. He has extensive international experience in banking and finance related transactions, particularly in structured finance, securitisation and derivatives, and all kinds of bank lending.
